Lightroom Start Page browser extension · Last updated November 5, 2026
Summary
The extension shows photos from your own Adobe Lightroom library in new tabs. It has no server of its own. Your data travels only between your browser and Adobe and is never shared with the developer or anyone else.
What the extension accesses
- Adobe sign-in tokens, issued when you sign in with your Adobe account. They let the extension read your Lightroom library on your behalf.
- Your Lightroom photos, albums and photo details such as title, capture date, camera and exposure.
- Your settings, such as the selected albums and the rotation interval.
Where it is stored
Only locally in your browser on this device: the sign-in tokens, your settings and a cache of recently downloaded photos. Nothing is synced to other devices or sent anywhere else.
Who receives it
The extension communicates only with Adobe (ims-na1.adobelogin.com to sign in, lr.adobe.io to load your
photos). Adobe's handling of your data is covered by the
Adobe Privacy Policy. There are no analytics, no tracking, no advertising
and no sale of data.
Removing your data
Signing out deletes the sign-in tokens and all cached photos from the device. Uninstalling the extension removes all of its stored data.
Contact
Use the developer contact on the extension's store listing.
